The Teddybear Goldendoodle is a mixed breed dog — a cross between the Golden Retriever, Spaniel (we prefer the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) or liken breed and Poodle.
WE KNOW THAT A GOLDENDOODLE IS A DESIGNER DOG CREATED BY CROSSBREEDING A GOLDEN RETRIEVER AND A POODLE. THEY LOVE PEOPLE AND ALSO GET ALONG GREAT WITH OTHER PETS, AND THEY TEND TO BE PATIENT AND GENTLE WITH YOUNG CHILDREN — MAKING THEM A FANTASTIC CHOICE FOR FAMILIES. SO THEN----WHERE DOES THE 'TEDDYBEAR' NAME COME FROM? THE FACTS ARE: THAT IT IS HARD TO GET A SMALL GOLDENDOODLE WITHOUT COMPROMISING THE TEMPERAMENT. BY ADDING A SPANIEL (WE PREFER CAVALIER KING CHARLES) WITH A GOLDENDOODLE, WE ARE ABLE TO GET AN EVEN SMALLER GOLDENDOODLE WITHOUT LOSING THE FANTASTIC TEMPERAMENTS THAT GOLDENDOODLES ARE KNOWN FOR.
